Neenah SC Classic & Premier Teams
11U-19U
Neenah SC Classic and Premier Teams are for soccer players that want a higher level of competition. Staff Coaches work off of a developmental curriculum that builds off of each other from 11U-19U. All interested players must attend tryouts.
NSC Tryout Guidelines
*Updated - January 2026*
01
Age Group Requirements
• All players must try out with their designated age group, determined by school year (August 1 – July 31).
• Players may also try out one age group older than their assigned group.
• Exception: High school–aged players are not eligible to try out for older age groups as they are already pooled.
02
Academy Player Policy
• Academy-level players are excluded from these tryout guidelines.
• These players cannot try out for older age groups (formerly U11).
• The Coaching Leadership Team may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Player Development Philosophy
• NSC is committed to placing players where they can grow and develop best. • Every effort will be made to match players with teams that support their progress.
03
Academy Player Policy
To be considered for placement in an older age group, players must:
1. Rank in the top 25% of the age group, based on tryout assessments.
2. Commit to attending at least 90% of games and practices during Fall and Spring season. Winter training will be tracked however 90% attendance is not required. If below 50% available for winter, must discuss it with DOC.
3. Have parents who follow the NSC Parent Code of Conduct:
• One strike policy: Any violation will result in removal from the team for the spring season or the following year.
4. Understand that Tryout Assessors have the final say in all placement decisions. Placement Grievances
If you have concerns about placement, please submit them to the Director of Coaching (DOC) for review.
