Neenah Soccer Club (NSC) Recreational Soccer Overview
Our recreational program's emphasis is on learning the fundamental skills of soccer while having fun and instilling a love of the game of soccer in a supportive environment. Players will be exposed to age appropriate skill building exercises and games designed to teach the fundamental skills of soccer. It is geared toward players who are primarily interested in having fun, making friendships, and staying active. All players will participate equally in the games. Teams are formed annually by the club with no tryout process required. Teams may have “new to soccer players” along with experienced players. Every attempt is made to assign teams with equal skill levels. Teams will be coached by parent volunteers with the guidance of a master coach.

Because we are a volunteer-run organization, we do require that all parents of players participating in the Spring/Summer Recreational League, Rocket Launcher Academy League or the Classic program volunteer two hours per player during the course of the season.
***Volunteer Buyout Pre-payment: Starting with the 2017-2018 season, the $50 volunteer opt out fee (Family max. of $100) will be included, up front, when the player registers for the recreational season. When you complete two hours of volunteering per player for the Club, you will be given a “receipt.” Each parent will be responsible for keeping track of these receipts. When all volunteer hours for a player (or the family) are met, you can come to the appointed time and location to collect $50 for the first two hours volunteered for each player up to $100 (assuming that you have paid the membership fees* in full). Click on the “Volunteer” tab above for information on ways you can volunteer throughout the season.
*Register by December 31st to receive a $5.00 discount.

Neenah Soccer Club Game Cancellation Policy:
If Rec games are to be cancelled for the night, this will be determined and posted to the Neenah Soccer Club website and Facebook page by 4 PM. Any game cancellations after that time will be determined at the field. Soccer is played in the rain and will only be called off if there is thunder/lightning or if the fields are flooded. If storms look like they will end by game time we will not cancel the games, in these cases, the coaches or referees will be responsible for cancelling games.
