What is Academy Soccer?
The Rocket Launcher Academy is a program offered by the Neenah Soccer Club designed to provide high quality training to boys and girls in the U7/8 and U9/10 age group in a progressive and consistent manner. The objective of the Academy is to enhance the player’s enjoyment and understanding of the game through improved technical skill and tactical development in a supportive environment. The emphasis will be on player development as opposed to winning in order to build a basis for success as the players get older.
Who should play Academy Soccer?
Academy Soccer is designed for those u7-u10 players who have previous soccer experience. The expectation is the player should have a high interest and commitment to learning the game, improving, and playing at a higher level of competition. This is true for all ages, but in particular for those younger players (birth year 2011) as it is designed to be a higher level of commitment to learning and competition. Parents should make sure their child has the soccer experience, the desire, and the physical and mental maturity to participate. For those with no or limited soccer experience or who are not interested in a higher level of commitment please consider Neenah Soccer Club's recreational soccer programs.
